Spanning over 25 years, Gary’s impressive teaching career began in 1986 at Dullatur Golf Club in Glasgow, two years later he moved south to Lavender Park Golf Centre in Ascot, Berks, where he continued his training. 1992 saw him travel overseas to a position at the prestigious Golf Club Wouwse Plantage in Holland, before returning to the UK and assuming the role of Head Teaching Professional at Thorpe Wood.

It is here that golfers of all abilities benefit from his extensive knowledge and experience of the game. This, combined with his effective teaching methods and friendly professionalism make Gary on of the most sought after Professional Golf Coaches in our region.

Fault Fixer – 1x 30min session

Practical advice and tuition, or observed opinion on any aspect of your game that’s costing you shots on the course. For the established golfer seeking a solution to a specific shot fault or help with hazards, needing to cure their slice or fix their swing. Use a Fault Fixer lesson to increase your ability and ultimately decrease your score.

For the new golfer who’s never played or fairly new to the game. A great way to introduce yourself to the KEY SHOTS required to get you down the hole.

1x 4 hole assessment
3x 30min sessions based on assessment

During the 4 hole assessment we can see you in action and assess all areas of your game such as TECHNIQUE, EQUIPMENT, COURSE TACTICS and SELF MANAGEMENT. Then we can head to the practice area and work on the outcome of the assessment.
