Nene Park Golf are proud to offer two superbly maintained courses, that challenge golfers in all aspects of their game and test all levels of skill and ability. Every feature, from tee to green, of these well-presented courses is maintained to a consistent, high-quality standard, ensuring they remain open all year round.
Both Thorpe Wood and Orton Meadows present opportunities for different levels of gameplay from hole to hole, including some challenging risk-rewards situations, all designed to provide a memorable round of golf.

Thorpe Wood
Designed by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas, both renowned for their impressive golfing careers and golf course architecture, this gently undulating par-70 course measures 6,875 yards from the competition tees – establishing it as one of the longest in the country. Thorpe Wood is proud to be recognised as one of the leading pay and play courses in the country, and strives to maintain a high standard of greenkeeping throughout the year, meaning it’s rarely, if ever, shut. The challenging, yet rewarding course is only part of the experience. Recent developments have seen a brand new Let’s Play Golf Academy open that offers an exciting and innovative way of learning and teaching golf, featuring a grand, 23-bay driving range complete with a state-of-the-art Custom Fit centre.

Orton Meadows
Opened in May 1982 with 12 holes, Orton Meadows was eventually extended to a full 18-hole course in April 1987. Designed by Dennis and Roger Fitton, then the current golf professionals at both courses, it (comes in at) 5,613 yards with a par 67. It may be shorter than its Nene Park Golf counterpart but don’t be fooled; its well-placed bunkers and punishing roughs still make it a (force to be reckoned with/challenging and rewarding) game for golfers of all skills and abilities. The wonderfully picturesque surroundings and beautiful natural scenery add to the personality of this course. A 12-hole pitch and putt course is an additional feature, attracting new players who want to learn about the game and established golf enthusiasts who want to sharpen their short game.
